Effective date: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Bomb Man Duel Arena (the “Game”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Game is developed and operated by Abid Nawaz (the “Developer”). By playing the Game you agree to this policy.
1. What we do not require
We do not require a legal name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location to play the Game. You are not asked to create a password or sign in with an email account. The Game does process other information described below to operate online play, social features, progress, advertising, and support.
2. Information we collect and process
- Anonymous account identifiers — when you first launch the Game and choose an age range, the Game creates an anonymous account tied to your device using Google Firebase Anonymous Authentication. There is no sign-in, password, email address, or phone number, and the identifier is not your legal name.
- Display name — the nickname you choose. It is shown to other players in matches, friends lists, chat, and, for players aged 13 and over, on the public leaderboard. Please do not use your real name.
- Friend code — a randomly generated code used to add friends and to help us locate your account if you contact support or request deletion.
- Avatar photo (optional) — if you choose a photo avatar, the Game crops it and reduces it to a small thumbnail (at most 12 KB) on your device; the original image is never uploaded or kept. When an online match forms that thumbnail is relayed through the game service to your opponent so they can see your avatar during that match, and is held only for the life of that match room; it is never stored as a permanent profile photo on our servers.
- Age-range profile (local) — on first launch you choose one of four age ranges. The exact selected range is stored on your device and is not sent to our game server. The server receives and permanently latches only a coarse social category (under 13 or 13 and over) so it can separate chat audiences. Advertising services receive age-treatment tags selected from the local profile. We do not collect your birthdate or exact age.
- Gameplay and economy data — match results, trophies, wins/losses, experience, mission progress, inventory ownership, streaks, cooldowns, and virtual-currency balances (coins and gems). Online match and wallet data are handled by our Google Firebase backend.
- Profile and leaderboard data — a profile row holding your display name, friend code, trophies, win/loss totals, and wallet totals is stored in Google Firebase and is used for the public leaderboard and for showing your profile to friends and opponents. Please choose a nickname rather than your real name.
- Social messages and friends — friends lists, friend requests, private messages, lobby chat, match invites, blocks, reports, and related moderation records are processed through our Google Firebase backend. In-match chat is limited to a fixed list of predefined phrases and emotes for all players. Players under 13 may use only approved canned phrases and emotes in lobby and friends chat; players 13 and over may send free text after accepting the conduct rules. A copy of recent direct-message conversations may be stored locally on your device in chat history.
- Network and technical data — your IP address, connection metadata, and connection quality (such as ping) are processed while you are connected to our servers, as needed to run online matches, social features, and support troubleshooting.
- Advertising and consent data (mobile) — on supported mobile builds the Game uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show optional rewarded video ads and limited interstitial ads, and to collect or apply consent where required. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, and ad interaction data according to your age-range profile, consent choices, and Google’s policies. Settings may show a privacy-choices entry point when UMP requires it.
- Purchases — if you buy the optional gem pack, Google Play processes the payment and we receive and store the purchase token and order state so the purchase can be validated and the gems granted, and so a refund can be reconciled. We never receive your card number, bank details, or billing address.
- Support communications — if you email us, we receive the information you choose to include (such as your email address, friend code, device details, and message content).
3. How your information is used
We use the information above to operate the Game, including matchmaking, online matches, saving progress and virtual items, showing leaderboards for eligible players, enabling friends and chat, enforcing conduct and safety rules, displaying ads and applying consent settings, responding to support requests, and improving reliability and security. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising
The Game may show ads on supported mobile platforms. Ad availability and treatment depend on your locally stored age-range profile and applicable consent choices:
- Under 13 — child-directed ad settings and a stricter content rating ceiling.
- 13–15 — teen treatment with under-age-of-consent ad settings where applicable.
- 16–17 and 18+ — teen or standard ad treatment with the app’s overall content ceiling.
Rewarded ads are optional and grant in-game rewards only after completion. Some automatic interstitial ads may be suppressed if you own an ad-free entitlement. Google’s ad and consent services are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to host and operate parts of the Game:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — anonymous authentication, online matches, wallets, purchases, friends, chat, invites, moderation records, profile and leaderboard data, hosted in the United States (us-central1).
- Google Play Billing — payment processing and purchase validation for the optional gem pack.
- Google AdMob / UMP — mobile advertising and consent management.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. Service providers may also process data under their own policies when required to deliver their services.
6. Where data is stored
- Google Firebase (United States) — online gameplay, economy, purchases, friends, chat, invites, moderation records, profile and leaderboard data.
- Your device — settings, age-range profile, optional avatar photo, local chat history, and cached progress. Uninstalling the Game removes local data from the device but does not by itself delete server-side records.
- Google advertising systems — ad and consent data processed by Google when ads are shown or configured.
7. Retention and deletion
Server-side data is kept for as long as your anonymous account remains active. You can delete it yourself at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the Game. This removes your profile information, leaderboard entry (where applicable), friends, chat-related records, wallet, profile photo and associated identifiers, and clears the Game's local data on your device. You can keep playing immediately as a new player. You may also contact support with your friend code; we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Local device data can also be removed by uninstalling the Game or clearing app data.
Two categories are retained after deletion, and neither can be linked back to you once your account is gone: reports you submitted about other players, which we keep as moderation records, and purchase receipts, which are bound to a one-way hash of your account and exist to prevent a purchase being claimed twice.
8. Children and age-related features
The Game is designed for a mixed audience and asks you to choose an age range before online services start. Players who select under 13 may play online and appear on the leaderboard, but their social messaging is limited to approved canned phrases and emotes, enforced on the server. Players 13 and over may use free-text social chat subject to conduct rules. The age category is latched on the server the first time it is reported, and in-match communication remains preset-only for every age group. Reports, blocks, and moderator restrictions are available. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the Game (for example in a chosen nickname or support email), contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete it where applicable.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed by the Game and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country.
11. Your choices
- You may choose not to upload an avatar photo.
- You may limit social interaction by not adding friends or not sending chat messages.
- Rewarded ads are optional; some automatic interstitial ads may be suppressed with an ad-free entitlement.
- On supported Android builds, privacy and ad consent choices may be available through UMP and Settings when required.
- You may request access to or deletion of server-side data through Contact Support.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page, and the effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be reflected here before or when they take effect.
